Alan Thicke as Dr Jason Seaver
Jason is a psychiatrist. When the show begins, he’s just moved his practice to the Seaver house so he can be at home with the kids while his wife Maggie goes back to work.
Joanna Kerns as Maggie Seaver
Maggie is a newspaper reporter who’s recently returned to work after 15 years at home with the kids. Later in the series, she gives birth to a hellspawn.
Kirk Cameron as Mike Seaver
Mike is 15 at the beginning of the series. He’s a bit of a schemer, sweet but dumb.
Tracey Gold as Carol Seaver
Carol is the middle child. She’s brainy and neurotic and often frustrated by her brothers.
Jeremy Miller as Ben Seaver
Ben is the youngest child until the birth of the hellspawn later in the series. Ben is weird.
Ashley Johnson as Chrissy Seaver
A hellspawn. Born in season 4 (because that’s what sitcoms did then), she’s the most annoying child of all time.
Andrew Koenig as Boner Stabone
Boner is Mike’s best friend. He’s dumber than Mike and later joins the Marines.
